The expectation of a new birth is always an exciting time!  And a photo shoot of the expecting parents is just as exciting.  I enjoyed capturing the vision of Pastor Tariq and Tamika, they made my job easy.  Congratulations and many blessings to the Cummings family on your upcoming bundle of joy!

The Jones Family Holiday Shoot

The holiday season in Georgia can be tricky. Some days the weather is warm and other days it’s brisk and cold. The Joneses were fortunate and had a warm weather day for their photo shoot. They were able to get shots inside their lovely home as well as outside by the pool.

It’s graduation season and the celebrations are about to get kicked off in grand style. But, not without a few photos first to capture the spirit of the season.

Man About The Mission

Joevan Palmer got his mind on his mission and his mission on his mind. He’s not just talking about getting active in the community, he is an Activist. Joevan spends many of his Saturdays mentoring young boys and is very active in his church and community. I had the opportunity to photograph Joevan recently and it is refreshing to meet a young man who is concerned and interested in doing his part to make this world a better place.

One Love

I spent the morning with Kim and Robert at Lake Lanier shooting their engagement pictures and they are on the countdown to their BIG day in late June.  I enjoyed working with them outside of our usual contact “church”.  Normally, our interaction is centered around outreach.  Kim is usually orchestrating an outreach project and Robert is usually working along side because they both have a love for outreach.  But today, it was my turn to do the directing and they were a lot of fun.

If I had to use one word to describe this couple it would be “love”.  Why “love” you ask?  Because of their love for God, love for others (the least, the lost and left out) and their love for each other that is undeniable when you are in their presence.

Congratulations to Ken and Jeri on the start of their new journey together!  It was an honor to photograph this momentous occasion in their lives.  We kicked off the fun with an engagement shoot, where I had an opportunity to get to know them better before their BIG day.  I believe it’s important to build rapport with the client so you’re not strangers on the the wedding day.  All the best to you Ken and Jeri!

Women of Power/Women of Prayer 2012

On Saturday, April 28, 2012 the powerful and prayer-filled conference for women hosted by the Condrey Evangelist Association was properly named, “Women of Power/Women of Prayer”.  Hundreds of women filled New Birth Missionary B.C. to hear a word from on high.  The presence of God filled the place as the Word was ministered through song and Word.  God bless Cory and Joann Condrey for the FREE events that they continue to host to the glory of God.

I’m back in the saddle after 3 days at Imaging USA 2012 in New Orleans. It’s always good to hear another perspective from others who have been in the business for many years doing the things you aspire to do better. We never stop learning when we open ourselves up to listen.
