Women of Power/Women of Prayer 2012

On Saturday, April 28, 2012 the powerful and prayer-filled conference for women hosted by the Condrey Evangelist Association was properly named, “Women of Power/Women of Prayer”.  Hundreds of women filled New Birth Missionary B.C. to hear a word from on high.  The presence of God filled the place as the Word was ministered through song and Word.  God bless Cory and Joann Condrey for the FREE events that they continue to host to the glory of God.

Never Stop Learning

I’m back in the saddle after 3 days at Imaging USA 2012 in New Orleans. It’s always good to hear another perspective from others who have been in the business for many years doing the things you aspire to do better. We never stop learning when we open ourselves up to listen.

I manage to get out one evening to shoot. Here are some of my favorites.

Traditional Cap & Gown

A traditional portrait in cap and gown is a great way to remember this milestone in your life. Not only as a high school graduate, but as a college graduate too.

Ms. Stewart, graduating this May, but will not stop here. She has plans to enter law school upon completion of her undergraduate degree in Psychology.

All the best to you!

2012 – A New Beginning

January 1, 2012 another new beginning and another opportunity to get IT right. What is IT you may ask? IT is being a better me (wife, mother, Christian, friend, photographer, etc). My list goes on and on and it’s exciting to know I get another shot at it.

So, by the end of the day I should have taken down my Christmas decor and had my traditional New Year’s Day meal. I think I’m off to a great start! Some days I know I’ll fall short, but everyday I open my eyes is yet another opportunity to get IT right. I’m a work in progress.

2011 in review

The WordPress.com stats helper monkeys prepared a 2011 annual report for this blog.

Here’s an excerpt:

A San Francisco cable car holds 60 people. This blog was viewed about 2,400 times in 2011. If it were a cable car, it would take about 40 trips to carry that many people.

Senior Session

HS Senior, Bontu not only has a beautiful outward appearance, but a beautiful inner spirit.  Our scheduled outdoor session turned into a studio session due to unscheduled rain.  But, Bontu had no problem flipping the script and making it work despite the change of plans.  All the best Bontu as you complete your last few months of high school.  Upon completion of high school, Bontu plans to major in Political Science and become an attorney.
